CENTRAL CHESTERFIELD LITTLE LEAGUE
2024 DISTRICT AND INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT APPLICATION FORM
Dear Parents and Players,
This application form confirms your child's availability to participate on a CCLL Tournament Team. While there is no guarantee that your child will be selected, completing this application will guarantee your player will be among those players in the selection process. An explanation and listing of all available All-Star teams and Schedules are posted HERE.
Eligibility to participate:
According to Little League rules, your child must meet eligibility requirements to be a member of a Tournament Team. The rule states "any player (is eligible)... who has participated as an eligible player in eight (8) regular season games for Juniors and below." An exception to the 8 game minimum will be granted if the player missed time due to injury as long as we have a doctor's note indicating the player could not play due to injury. There is no minimum game requirement for the Senior Division.
Additionally, your child may not be eligible if he/she was subject to official disciplinary action during the regular season or if your child is playing with CCLL on certain waivers. If you have any questions regarding a waiver status, please contact us.
Additional Considerations:
- If your child is selected, you will need to purchase your tournament uniform at the cost of up to $130.00. The uniform fee includes your hat, jersey (name on jersey) socks, pants and belt (all of which are kept by the player).
- Being an All-Star player means that you and your child represent your League (CCLL). Sportsmanship on, and off, the baseball field is as important as playing the game of baseball
- If you are selected for a Tournament Team, your participation is required for games and the majority of practices. Please disclose any possible times your player will not be available to the Team Manager.
- CCLL will be hosting All-Star Tryouts for all Tournament Teams with the exception of the 6-7 Year Old Coach Pitch Invitational Team. Your player must attend the All-Star tryout or contact us to make arrangements to try out for the Team Manager. Tryout dates and locations will be published soon.
- You must complete this application by May 14, 2024.
