Chesterfield County Parks & Recreation will make a decision by 4 pm each weekday in the event of inclement weather and the fields need to be closed.  After 4 pm on weekdays and on weekends, CCLL will make that decision.

Registration begins December 1st, 2017 and completes on February 10th, 2018.  Any registrations received after February 10th are subject to a $25 late fee and will be wait listed.

***** Spring of 2018 In-Person Registrations *****

Mandatory in-person registration for first year players to be held on the following dates:

  • Saturday, January 13th from 10 am to 2 pm
  • Saturday, January 27th from 10 am to 2 pm
  • Saturday, February 10th from 10 am to 2 pm

All in-person registration events will be held at Ironbridge Sports Park located at 11400 Ironbridge Road, Chester, VA. 

Here is some important information that will be required at in-person registration:

  • When pre-registering online (or at the in-person registration), please be sure to have included in the registration form your child’s physician contact information and the date of his/her last tetanus shot.
  • You will be required to provide a copy of the child’s birth certificate and 3 proofs of residence - preferably (1) a driver’s license, (2) a social security card, and (3) a utility bill or voter registration card.  If one or more of these are not available you can review the little league requirements HERE for information on additional acceptable proofs of residence.

***** 2018 Little League Bat Rule Changes *****

Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.
